How to Proceed with Reckon Account After You Entered Credit Note in RBO?

Follow the steps mentioned below to proceed with Reckon account after you entered a credit note in RBO.

  1. Step 1: Select the option Rates right from the field appearing as Customer: Job.

  2. Step 2: Ensure the accounts appear as Account Receivable

  3. Step 3: Now, you need to enter the current date. Do not proceed further without entering the correct date.

  4. Step 4: In the next step, check the liability account no and enter it in the required field. Make sure the liability account is dedicated for the related credit. Dial the Reckon account support number NZ +64-04-8879113 if you are confused regarding the credit and liability account number.

  5. Step 5: Apart from entering the description, you will have to enter the details such as month and additional info for meeting the required relevance.

  6. Step 6: Next, you will need to check the amount credited and enter the same under the field appearing as Rate. Make sure the adjacent fields of Tax amounts appear blank.

  7. Step 7: In the next move, you have to type the credit class that will be applicable to the income account.

  8. Step 8: Finally, you will need to click "Save & Close".

After following the steps mentioned above, you will need to enter the manual charge as credited into the Reckon account. Do remember the credit will be the net amount. Still, the adjustment note will be required for entering the manual charges with appropriate accounts as negative amount.
